Water Day celebrates community and belonging. This UPgrade 59 highlights one of the communities that inspired the creation of the United Planet and UP Game. Lucian and Heather are speaking from the future about the transformative power of communities.

Lucian's father met the legendary Baba Amte in India in 1964 and visited him every year for 44 years until the year before his death. He is now buried next to Baba in a garden called Joie de Vivre in Anandwan. See www.anandwan.in. Anandwan is the world's largest community around leprosy and disability in India. Lucian has been visiting the community many times since the age of 9.
